Recorded by the Dubliners in 1967, Whiskey In The Jar is a traditional Irish folk song dating back to 17th century about the highwayman Patrick Fleming. Later popularised as a rock version by Thn Lizzy in 1972.

Waxies Dargle

Waxies Dargle originated as a children's song in Dublin in 19th century. In Dublin cobblers were known as Waxies due to the wax used in stitching and Dargle what they called holiday excursions out to a famous fair at Donnybrook.
